Leads should be able to convert to contacts and organizations apart from converting to deals because, very often, leads will be influencers and conduits and will be decisive in bringing more deals

Hi @Shriram S !
When you convert a Lead to a Deal, the Person and/or Organization attached to the lead also get converted to a Contact that will then show up in your Contacts list. 🙂0 -
@Inês Batata Not all leads need to be converted to deals. They can just remain contacts or organizations. That was the reason for my poll.0

@Juan Leal But leads section have a great potential! Just 1 or 2 functionalities to be added and they will complete the sales cycle tools!0

Leads are more likely to convert to contacts supporting existing deals than to create new deals - I would love the functionality to convert leads to contacts. Thanks

The only thing I like about Zendesk Sell is how they have implemented the Leads to Deal/Contact/Organization conversion. It's worth a look and would work a lot better than the Leads functionality in Pipedrive today.
As of today, there is no reason why I can simply create a separate pipeline for Leads under Deals and achieve the same functionality.
