Hi,
I'm going to choose Pipedrive as my default CRM, but what I'm seeing does not help me to follow this lead.
- Since 2020 we've been telling you we need multiple labels
- I need multiple labels
- All other CRM have multiple labels
a/ Zoho
b/ LiveSpace
c/ HubSpot
d/ Zendesk
e/ Salesforce
4. I know that requires you to change your database, but is a simple solution one relation many to many, and the job is done. I'm sure that you can do it in a month if you want to. So instead of ignoring us, write back when it will be done, this will help us to understand how we can operate

Please implement for Organisations and People so that we can classify them and filter/search. Such a basic requirement.

Hello, any update on this feature? Adding labels or tags to contacts seems like a basic feature to me for a CRM. I have based my Data Management new structure on it just to realise you can't do it on Pipedrive...
Any timeline at least?

Edit: I realize now that it already exists, but it would be nice with the fancy colorful design from labels :)
We would love to be able to define a tags field, as a custom field, letting label be what it is today. An example of how we would implement it is as follows.
We have sales contacts and student contacts and for many smaller companies a contact is both sales and student. Thus, we would like to implement a tag field where we, stealing the design concept from labels would be able to create multiple tags for a contacts (and organization):
Person 1: sales,student
Person 2: sales
etc...

This definitely needs to be an option for Organizations and People too! Please prioritize on your roadmap. Labels are a highly visible place on the page so it's important that we can do this.

@Product Innovation @pipedrive_ux - I'm not sure if these are the right contacts to tag, but it seemed right.
Any update on being able to add multiple labels to a contact?
For example, I work with agencies that have different account teams. I would like to have a label for the agency ("XYZ Agency") and then a second label for the team ("ABC Account Team") on a single contact.
I see comments on this back to 2020 and would love an update on when this feature will be added. Thanks!

I don't understand why you would do multiple labels in deals, we manage the deals via pipelines. We desperately need them for contacts and organisations. Once again a basic feature that without it, makes Pipedrive pretty useless for a prospecting tool!!

Pipedrive is clearly sleeping at the wheel! Our team will definitely be leave this app if they don't get it together soon! 😡👎

The Pipedrive app is good but the management team sucks! Years of asking for the same couple of basic features with no real responses, let alone an actual timeline. This is negligent and absolutely insulting to the users. At this point I think we're all better off getting together and making an open source app ourselves! Because clearly these companies don't have a clue what users really want. 😡

Stopping by to give you all an update on this! Currently, multiple labels within contacts and or organizations is a feature that is in the works and should be available at the end of Q1 or the start of Q2. The team is aware that this is a much needed feature so I just wanted to bring some reassurance that there is an ETA on making this happen. Thank you!

+1 - Is there any update on this? Seems silly to have a label function without being able to classify one person or org as more than one thing. This doesn't seem like a challenging update to make....?

one label vs many tags: May be the easiest solution for Pipedrive developers would be to add separate, brand new, parallel "Tags" system. The "Label" would remain the same, i.e. only one at a time. And a "Tags" would be added, which could be multiple, just as we are used to it and as is its principle and natural feature.

Thank you for the update @Andreia Costa , I've been hoping for this for a few years so very happy it's almost here! When combined with mass email features it can be really powerful to slice & dice and communicate with different segments of contacts & organizations (already doing in leads - works great)
