Lost information when leads are not qualified in leads tab

This is something that is important. 

In prospecting some of the time you invest a lot of time trying to get the phone numbers of companies. When you use the lead tab if you don't have a current potencial opportutinity fo r a certain lead, either you convert them to an opportunity or you archive it. 

This information is valuable and should not be lost in pipedrive unless you want to.


I personaly don't understand why the use of archive

    Hey Jorge,

    Thanks for your feedback! I'm not quite sure what you mean with it being lost though? If the data is archived, it will be in the archived folder and not technically lost. Perhaps you wish for the data to be located somewhere else?

    I'd like to understand your idea a little better. When you archive a lead the information is not lost or deleted in Pipedrive - it even shows up as data from a lead if you do a search. Can you tell me some more about what you think would be a better solution? I'd like to forward it to our team as a suggestion for their consideration.

    Of course. It would be great if the system gives you the option to save the inforamtion of the people or the company with out the need of creating a deal. 

    Right now the information is "lost" because you will not remember all the leads in the past. The information you have on leads is very limited. 

    But if you could have the ability to create a contact or company inside the leads tab with out the need of creating a deal it would be so much help. 

    This is specially helpfull because some of the leads that are not opportunities right now  can become future opportunity in the future.

    Right now the information is "lost" because you will not remember all the leads in the past. The information you have on leads is very limited.  Think about that the potencial lead could have in the fututure for this person or company.

    If you could easily save the information of the person and the company with out the need of creating a deal right now  it would be fantastic. 

    Once the person or the company is in your contact section you can have more info of them. You can use custom fields or long term information, etc. 

    Right now with leads is Yes or No.  THe archived list can be so massive that you will be lost for future opportunities.
