Automation Question

Hello! I am starting to setup automated workflows for when a deal is moved from one stage to the next and sequences of activities. (Ex. Send a proposal, then follow up on proposal.) Is there a way to stop PipeDrive from automatically prompting users to create the next activity since I would already have it in place?

No. It is requested by many, but it is not supported yet.
The swiftest way to work around this 'inconvenience' is to hit the Escape key when you see the popup.

hope it's optimized soon. I have a lot of automations in place and I don't mind hitting escape every time, but it does annoy the majority of the staff..

Yes. It has been requested many times. Hopefully there will be an option to customize this soon.

Hi everyone, so happy to see you helping each other out with tips and tricks! 🙂 @Julia Schoonover @Amit Sarda @Beatriz Lopez
Being and activity-based tool, Pipedrive is designed to by default show a prompt to schedule an activity for a Deal, Person or Organization when the previous activity was marked as done and if there's not a future one scheduled already. The goal is to give an incentive for the user to think of their next move, so deals will move forward and don't fall through the cracks. Automations are indeed a great way to save you work/time doing this by hand! That being said, thank you for your suggestion, I will relay it to the team for consideration.

Hi Ines,
Are we any closer to being able to turn this feature off? We are about to move over to the Professional plan and roll out a new training programme to drive use, however I know that this is going to be seen as a major roadblock for our users adopting Pipedrive so I have been holding off.
