Automation trigger based on Deal Email Count: solved?

Probably I find the the problem. 

I need to MOVE a DEAL from a STAGE to ANOTHER automatically, WHEN an EMAIL related to the deal, arrives.

So I created a simple automation like this:

  • Trigger = Deal Updated
  • IF Deal email count is = x 
  • Action: update deal fields (new Pipeline Stage)

But it doesn't work. 

Now I have a question.... What do you mean whits this description "Update files, status or edit....."?

So, the trigger starts only if user manually update fields? Because if it's right, I can't automate my process based on an email arrival :-( 
 

Any suggestions?
