Feedback to Lead Inbox

Hi,
I started using the new Lead Inbox as we have 2000-5000 companies we need to contact or at least systematically qualify whether they would be a good fit for our product offering.
I started off with importing the first batch of 2000+ leads (company names + optional contact person), but I soon noticed the quality of my data was quite bad... lot's of duplicates and garbage entries.
To my horror, I soon realised:
- there are no basic sorting options in the Lead Inbox
- there are no filter options in Lead Inbox (apart from owner, but as I imported these, they are all owned by me)
So I am struggling with actually managing the data/leads in Pipedrive, with all of the duplicates and garbage I have unfortunately.
Additionally, I wanted to report on the progress to the management. Then I realized:
- there are no options to report on the Leads?? (just Deals, etc.)
- I can not even export the leads out of pipedrive? (into an excel scheet which I could create a report from)
Any help on the way?

thanks for sharing and yes the functionality you speak about is not there right now. The leads inbox is brand new and just live for all our customers this week. Many of our smaller customers are enjoying the fruits of it already.
Others like yourself need (way) more functionality and we're aware! We have teams already working on what you are mentioning.
- Bulk editing
- Filtering
- Sorting
- Custom fields
Basically the list view options you are used to in the rest of Pipedrive.
Reporting on leads is also something in the plans already. I wish I could tell you it's there tomorrow but unfortunately software development takes time. But the good news is, that it's coming 🙏

I may speak just from a selfish point of view, but in terms of priority having an export seems very reasonable from a dev effort versus giving users the option to use the Leads data beyond the current functionality. I should hope that for that reason it will have higher priority than you imply here...

I second this... I even considered developing some mechanism for ourselves to export the leads by use of the pipedrive API. But then I came to my senses :-P

Besides reporting what are potentially some other use cases you'd need exporting for? I can then pass this on to our team to explain your request better as to why it should have more urgency in your eyes.

thanks @Mike van der Valk , the API will do well also: that is a fine priority
use case would be to to as @Olli Murto also implied: once you can export, you can sort/filter as needed to action things.
But in our case, at times we want to do a marketing mailing to our leads; so exporting the people to get them into E-mail / Mailchimp (or similar).

Good news 🚀 exporting is also part of the update the team is currently working on, I had missed that from my side!

We have a similar issue. We need to track progress of leads and conversion to deals. We also need reports tracking activities logged on the leads and leads ultimately archived. Thanks for creating this functionality. We also would like to show the name of the contact on the display, not just the Lead title. Lead source is also lacking. It's available on person but it'd be ideal to have as a lead specific field. Adding a settings button to select and display data would be extremely helpful.

It's fully within our intention to build out proper reporting around this feature and the option to use all data fields across leads like you do with contacts and deals already. Lead source in this case as well.
I'll pass on your other suggestions to the team and could you please clarify what you mean by your last comment. What data do you want to display and hide with a settings button?
