extra field to pipeline view

I use the Deal name / title in two different ways, to describe the deal or to describe the "status" of the deal.
it would be nice if the pipeline view had one additional field under the title where you could describe, for example, the latest event.
12.07 - called or
10.07 - sent offer
in pipeline view would show the trade name and also when and what the latest event of that trade is
