I agree this needs to be supported. The suggestion to use a custom field doesn't work because an important function of labels/tags is that it's easy to add a label to multiple things at once. Those items may or may not have pre-existing labels that you don't want to overwrite but add in addition.

Yes please upvote this! We need to be able to allocate different tags per contact, in order to allow filtering.

We've been using Pipedrive for over 5 years.
Multiple visual labels are fundamental now that we are expanding to a Customer sucess team in order not to acquire a second product.
Pipedrive please consider adding multiple labels to Deals/Orgs/Contacts/Leads

It's unbelievable that Pipedrive doesn't have a comprehensive tagging system in 2023
Multiple labels/tags! on all content types (person, companies, lead, deals,..).
Everyone and everywhere has it. (Google has it, Microsoft has it, Trello, you also have it here in the Community) It's a standard for sorting content. Incomprehensible ignorance.
It doesn't matter what we call it: labels or tags (or keywords, pills or chips).
Tagging/labeling content is brilliantly simple and standardized way how to categorize, organize content. https://ui-patterns.com/patterns/Tag
Tags/labels can be almost always created on the fly without restrictions. Because they're not defined they support a more loose and free organization based on association. E.g. a deal about the iPhone 14 could be tagged with "news", "iPhone", "iPhone14", "smartphone", "iOS" and "apple".
There is always an option to add multiple tags/labels, otherwise it doesn't make sense.
Custom Fields won't help you.

@Túlio Abner de Lima thank you for interesting point. But is pretty surprising that change is only about Deals tags. Is it really like that? Sounds me unbelievable.
What about labels on People, Projects..and I don't know where all they're?

Just agreeing with this as it's been y years and PD still has not been able to add this feature. I have worked in other CRMs that aloowed multiple tags. Crucial need for this!!
