New Leads Feature

We recently became a beta tester for the new Leads feature. We see some potentially significant benefits but have a few pieces of initial feedback:
- It would be great to create customizable attributes under details, org & persona
- We think about prospecting/leads at org level therefore having the ability to add multiple personas to each lead would be extremely helpful
Does anyone else share the same thoughts on this new feature?

@Mike van der Valk thanks for following up. For example, under person I would like to label the type of persona using customizable attributes — more specifically, the field would be labeled "type" and the available attributes might be "Portfolio Manager, Business Lead, Operations, etc.). Having this functionality would enable us to easily identify and sort leads in the system. Happy to jump on a call at some point and explain in greater detail.

Okay so in essence a multiple- or single option custom field like you can set on deals, persons and organizations already in the rest of Pipedrive so you can then filter for the value in that field?

I second your second point
The usual process starts with a Company as a target, and from that, you sort out one one or more persons to approach. The Leads feature should reflect this.

Yes we do Account Based marketing as a B2B sales company. We need the lead to reference the account with possible contacts/decision makers under each account.
Also, we need to have some sort of automation setup like with creating new Deals but with New Leads.
Example: When new Contact Created with the condition of label "Cold Lead", a New Lead is populated. This could be the same for when Organizations are created.
There also is not a way to dial out of the leads list view. It would be great if we could use the Leads list as an actual prospect list as well for dialing and emailing just as you can from the Deal View.

@Peter Clancey in that case there's good news for you since we have a team working to add the custom fields functionality to the leads section
This way you can also add multiple person or organization type of fields.

@Jörgen Sjöstrand and @Mike Murphy good news since what you're asking for is planned. We have a team working on creating a list view, filtering, sorting, custom fields, etc like you're used to from the rest of Pipedrive. Over time calling, email, automation etc, should be available there as well.
