Using Campaign Email Templates as normal email templates

I would love it if I could use the email templates from the email campaigns for my normal email templates. I have a nice layout that I've been using for a newsletter, and it would be great if I could use that layout for my automated emails I send out for various stages of our sales pipeline as well.
We've created videos to be sent out at these different stages, but I'm having trouble sending them in a good way because just using an embed code doesn't work with emails and I don't want to just send a Youtube link in the email. Plus I think it just looks more professional to have a nice layout with company branding throughout the sales process.
If anyone has any ideas for alternate solutions that would be great also!
