Enabling feature to use in Workflow Automation

I am attempting to create an automation that when a Deal is generated, certain people will be linked to the Deal (Participants). As it is now, I have to manually search and add the same individuals over and over. However, under Person in the Action step shows "Link person to a project" is greyed out. It notes that I need to enable this feature before using but I cannot find anywhere how to enable. Help
