How to avoid duplicates when bulk-importing additional notes.

I tried to import notes from a spreadsheet, related to existing contacts, and used their e-mail as reference.

Still all persons were duplicated in a new 'page' with e-mail and new note only.

What do I do wrong?

    Hi Peter!

    In order to add information to contacts that already exist in Pipedrive, you will need to use the Person IDs to match them up.

    First, export all of the Person IDs and email addresses (if that's what you're using as a reference).

    Second, create a sheet that contains the Person ID and the notes you want to add. You can use a vlookup or similar to do this.

    Then, you will be able to import the sheet and it will match up with the Person ID.

    Hi, tried that to import notes for leads. The exported ID for leads is however in GUID format, not an integer. This format is not accepted as an ID for import. Is there anoter way to import notes and attach them to leads? All import variants I tried created new organisations, and also new Activites rather than Notes...
