Pipeline view needs to sort month/week by value or priority (not by process steps)

In Pipeline Forecast view allow: 1) sort by month, and then 2) within month by weighted value, total value, or priority, not date! Right now each column sorts by length of green line, or how far along they are in the process. That doesn't help! I can get that in the Pipeline view.
I want to view what we plan to close each month - some projects move fast, some slow, some strategic, some tactical. I want to know what's important and urgent to focus on!
