We want to continue using Caller. The Pipedrive team needs to do a study in this direction

    Hey, @inacyakup.

Discontinuing an in-house feature is always a tough decision on our side, but after thorough analysis of our users' usage of Caller, we had to reach the tough decision of discontinuing it. We apologise for any inconvenience this might have caused on your side.

That said, we have several integration that can be used for the same purposes of Caller, and our main suggestions are JustCall and CloudTalk.

If you have any further questions or need further assistance to chose the best alternative for your operation, please reach out to our Support Team.

    Thank you!

Just weighing in to say that this change is super disappointing and a big step back for PD.

Caller was a high value feature, that was seamlessly integrated into PD's desktop experience for recording, logging calls, and more. It had everything we needed for our outbound workflow and was extremely helpful for coaching.

Now, being forced to turn to third party tools, which always promise but never properly integrate, are expensive $$$ and a hassle. This is not supporting PD's core persona - salespeople.

I'd be really interested to know what was behind this decision. This is a feature that other CRMs like Hubspot offer, and alongside email it seems to be an integral part of PD's value prop.

    😥

    Hi

Thank you for your comment @Andrew Klotz .

I wonder why such a decision was made.

Just received an e-mail from Pipedrive that the Caller feature will only be decommissioned at the END OF 2023.

So it looks like the wrong decision to decommission has at least been postponed.

This is progress, best to completely undo the decision taken of course.

None of the testing (JustCall, Cloudtalk etc.) has been as satisfying and easy to use (incl. actual full integration and seamless capturing of data).

Pipedrive team, have you considered putting a cost effective price point on the feature and charging for it as a per-user add-on?
