What: You can now make custom field data visible to users without them being able to edit it

For whom: Companies on Professional or higher plans

When: Rolling out gradually to all regions between August and September 2023

    Great. We have certain fields which are automatically populated by a script which uses the Pipedrive API. These fields may not be edited by any users from the UI but only from the API. Is that use case covered with the upcoming change?

    This is a much needed feature, thank you @Manuel Oliveira ! When will the read-only fields be applicable to the revenue (Subscription & Payment Schedule) fields? Allowing read-only fields for these 2 is key when forecasting revenue and ensuring users are NOT able to edit revenue recognition.

    @Manuel Oliveira This is a nice feature, thanks! I had been wondering if we may also see the ability to have hidden custom fields. Say fields that can only be seen by Admins.
