Customise column width on e-mail window

Please oh please let me customise the column width on the email viewing page. The latest change gives so much space to the title and preview of the mail and even whitespace on the owner of the deal, but so little space to the deal name. The deal name is actually the most important part to me to check if everything is correctly assigned.

In yellow, the white space I'de remove, in red, I could easily do with 1/2 or even 1/3 of the space. In green, my most important information that doesn't let me see beyond the date on my coded deal names. Please let me customise this. It now takes me 3x more time to sort the emails into deals.
