Hi Community!
We are currently conducting research and looking for people to interview about read-only access to Pipedrive. If you have ever needed to give someone outside your sales team a read-only access to your Pipedrive account, then I would be very happy to talk to you :)

I am definitely interested in this. Coming from Hubspot where we could have as many people with "free licences" accessing the information, Pipedrive has been a very hard transition. It has made us change our workflows for our Sales Admin & Service areas.
Hubspot has different licence levels for different users, allowing us to give "Sales Pro"' access to Sales People and Managers, and the free licence to everyone else so they can access the data (it wasn't read-only either)

This would be absolutely huge for us. We want to give our editorial team access to look up contact information. Right now, that means finding a salesperson and interrupting their work. +1 from us!

Yes this is definitely something we need. My transaction coordinator needs contact and deal info crucial for collection of required documents, contract preparation and other paper works. My marketing assistant would also need to access the same info for preparation of marketing materials. At the moment, they will have to get those info from me, causing delay and work interruption specially when I'm with a client.

Our external marketing team wants access to leads and deal outcomes. I don’t want them to be able to change anything .. read only would work great. I also don’t want to pay for a license for them to get this info so someone who has a paid license needs to export and share with them on a recurring basis.

Our client has an internal controller, which needs to check from time to time some activities and logs in Pipedrive. For example in order to do a quick investigation why there is some nonesense in BI. It would be great to have this user with read-only access with less costly price plan.

My delivery team coordinators want to see what work is likely coming their way with 70%+ probability and a few others have a genuine interest just in whom we are talking to, without having to have update meetings through the course of a week.
I'm presently sharing my (admin level) user via Dashlane with about 10 people. Not good! :-)

We are also interessted in that feature.
We'd like to share our contacts as read-only with a client.
No need for Deals or Leads - just read-only access to our contacts would be nice.

Hi @MBrown , the research was one of many meant to give our product team a better insight into prioritizing this and other proposals for new features for 2024.
Read-only access won’t be released in the very near future as other features are prioritized. But be sure to keep an eye on What's New and Research and Beta Testing, and you’ll be among the first to know about our latest updates.
