Has anyone found a work-around for emails going to incorrectly associated deals?
I talked to Pipedrive about this, apparently when you have emails on a closed deal, they will automatically associate the emails with a single open deal for the same customer.
I find this behavior un-desirable. In my mind the emails should stay synced to the deal they are CC'd to, regardless of deal status. In most cases the open deal has nothing to do with the closed deal that the emails are happening on, (Often if the customer reaches out for something like a warranty or just re-uses their thread to ask questions.) Having these pop open on an active deal just causes confusion for the active deal's user, while losing the record from the timeline where it would make sense to have it.
