Send email based on user's language
Hi,
Do you know how I can send an email based on user's language, when a new lead is created?
I've created a language field, attached to the person.
But how can I reuse this field with an automation, based on lead creation?

You just about have it! There are just a couple of changes.
Steps 1 and 2 are the same.
Step 3 - Update Person. This is not to actually update a Person, but is a necessary step to be able to use Person fields within this automation. Just a little quirk of Workflow Automations. :)
Step 4 - Condition for the language
Step 5 - Send email from template
Please see the screenshots below.
You would then create this same automation for each of your language options.

thanks Liz! it works well. Ok, so I have to find a way to update the person and then, I'll be able to use the persons'field. It's clear. It would be great if pipedrive develop a feature to do this properly.

I needed to do the same thing as Matthieu, but I ran into an issue while executing the automation. I tried just like you suggested to "update the person" in order to use the field, but can't seem to make it work. Do you have an idea of what went wrong here?

@Liz (Ops Designed) Thank you for replying. It wasn't working because I didn't select any data to update on the person, I did like in the video and selected the person's name, and now it's working perfectly. Thank you so much!
