Telephone/Email drop down descriptions

Is it possible to add to the drop down types besides the current choices of Work, Home, Mobile or Other? All I really need is Preferred for phone and email. Seems easier than creating a custom field of Preferred Phone/Email.

    I apologize I should have included a screen shot in my original post. Similar for the email drop down as well. Or maybe there is a different way to solve the situation of selecting which phone number or email address a client prefers to be contacted. Thanks for inquiring.

    That specific part is not customizable, but maybe you can create a custom field [make it an important field] that captures the "Preferred Contact Method"

    That makes sense, part of the challenge of when you only label the number preferred you don't know what type of number you are calling. So this way may be better in the long run, maybe not as easy as a choice in the dropdown. But it definitely provides better data. Thank you for your input, I appreciate it!

    Can you add another Phone dropdown called: Direct Dial/Extn that can be use for either please?

    so sad ! I was looking too about to custom this field.
