Freeze Rows & Columns

It would be very useful to have the ability to freeze rows and columns in the Pipedrive contact list just like in your average spreadsheet software like, Google Sheets or Excel. It would make it way easier to navigate the contact list when much data is visible.

Hi pipedrive,
Can it possible to freeze one or multiple column(s) at the most left and make it always on screen in List mode of Deals. This is a necessary function when I make a business review and need to scroll right to have a look at other fields' information. It makes people lost if everything changes. At least, one or several significant column(s) should still stay on screen for easy recognize specific opportunity or company on each single row. It is not convinent to have to take a look a detail view one at a time.

did you know that you can drag and drop the columns to change the order they're in?

This would also be huge for me. Either this or rotating the columns to be rows so that I can see more text info.

@Nicki Kane Thanks, but that's really not want we're talking about. They're 2 different functionalities both equally important to contact navigation. This feature would just have the contact list work a lot more like a standard spreadsheet from any other program.

I would be VERY curious to know Pipedrive designer's perspective on this topic, as well as understanding what was in mind when desinging the Contact List tab. What was to be the purpose of that page and how to use it. I also guess the raised limitation became obvious at one point (if not from the very begining), so what alternative de design team had / have in mind for the need identified by Pipedrive users? 🙂
From our perspective, Pipedrive is being used to track numerous variables at the Person level. Even though these variables are categorized to ease understanding when proceeding with Person by Person browsing, the Contact List page is key to view numerous sets of variables per Person, the numerous columns for these variables stretching way too long for us to be able to keep track of who is identified on each line when browsing right to be able to view related date. Also, our contacts grouped by cohort, we are sorting the Contact List based on cohort and using tags to filter our list, looking forward to update easily information contained in one column for numerous individuals of the same cohort (avoiding to look after people one by one and scrolling on each Person page to find the same field over ans over again for each individual. Being used to previously use Excel with the feature of freezing one column at the very left of the page (with key information, like the full name), we are going through a real nightmare trying to find a way to benefit from having all the data incorporated on Pipedrive instead. Please take note that manually moving the "Full name" column accross the Contact list isn't user friendly, the time spent to bring that column from left to right each time not allowing us to keep focus on related data changes (actually, what we are looking for is for that Full name column to be floating above the whole Contac list, allowing use to scroll the list with always that point of reference showing).
Alternative at this point would be to extract all into excel, view, update and load back into Pipedrive. An incredible workaround when trying to update data for sets of 10 people! Seriously, being able to scroll from left to right a huge list of columns isn't making it useful if not having a point of reference of some sort on the left…
HERE'S AN IDEA…
I am assuming there is one unique key that is set to each Person record on the Person table of Pipedrive and that displaying two tables side by side could be possible, using that unique key to synch records of both tables, then allowing the user to pick and chose what column(s) to display on left table (keeping that left table with only few columns, like Full name only, or else), as well as chose what columns to display on right table (choice of numerous columns here), side by side tables allowing to keep left table content fully displayed, while scrolling in right table content, up and down scrolling triggering both left and right tables to be scrolled alltogether at same time (relying on unique key for constant mapping between left and right tables, so each line keeps matching).What do you think?
