Email Automation allow ability to specify from address

When creating automation the emails can only be sent from the user account. I have two mailboxes tha sync to the sales inbox but I can not choose which one to use.
I do not really understand why I can not specify the from address as anything I want. This would be even better with the SMTP integration options mentioned here: https://community.pipedrive.com/discussion/13334/allow-creation-of-send-from-as-email-addresses-using-smtp
I can see what I could do is create a campaign automation and then I can send using any email address I want via the campaigns addon. I do not see why I can not do this just through standard automations.
