Add new leads window --> will it be possible to add further fields (more than just phone, email, etc

Hello PD Team, will it be possible to add further fields (more than just phone, email, etc) in the Add new leads window --> thinking about inputting LinkedIn (other social networking) URLs.
When we input a lead, it would be helpful to add their LinkedIn, XING, etc URL (then it is important that the link opens in a new window) as most people look them up anyway on those networks to have a reference going forward.
Thanks and best regards!
Christian

@Christian Finke thanks for writing! There's currently a team working on making custom fields and other functionality available on the leads inbox 🚀

Also more than one phone number! Work and mobile would be nice!

This will be possible after our update in a few weeks! (edit: due to technical difficulties this is taking longer than expected.)

Hi Mike. Is this feature close to release? We are looking forward to it, as we miss crucial information when adding new leads at the moment. Cheers Ben
Hi @Ben Ruck
Currently in case there's data in the Lead field for example coming from a web form, the live chat or another source we display the following types:
- Address
- Autocomplete
- Date
- Date range
- Large text
- Monetary
- Multiple options
- Numeric
- Organization
- Person
- Phone
- Single option
- Text
- Time
- Time range
The following fields are also editable in the leads section:
- Date
- Large text
- Monetary
- Multiple options
- Numeric
- Phone
- Single option
- Text
I hope this helps 🚀

Hi Mike,
Thanks for the reply, but it does not help unfortunately. What I meant is that if we add a Lead manually, there are very limited fields available to fill out, and the custom fields that do show are not relevant for us for a Lead stage. Can we customise which fields show when we manually add a Lead (configurable like with Add deal and Add Person)

Hi @Ben Ruck not at the moment unfortunately
what fields and type of fields would you like to see when adding a lead manually and why? I can then pass this feedback on to the team

Well the point is that these are custom fields that we have added to Contact persons. It looks now that some random custom fields are selected, I have no idea why specifically these are selected, but for instance we have defined three fields for a name (e.g. a Ditch name like Jan de Groot): "First name" (e.g. Jan), "Insertion" (e.d. de) "Last Name" (e.g. Groot). I would want to have these fields accessible when we manually ad a Lead, but now only "Insertion" is chosen (no idea why). Also it now shows wether or not this person needs to get a Christmas card (custom field yes/no) which after this month makes no sense at all ;-).

Gotcha @Ben Ruck good feedback. I know that custom fields visible in leads now are those also set for deals. Not those for contact persons. Nonetheless, I understand your feedback and will make sure this reaches our team who will work on improvements to the whole leads area over time.
