Archive/Hide inactive products

A few years/months ago, I added several products to my Pipedrive account. These products have been linked to numerous past deals. However, these products are no longer in use at my company, and I would prefer not to see them when adding new products to current deals.

If I delete these products, the past deals will retain their value, but the product details will be lost.

It would be extremely helpful to have the ability to archive or hide these inactive products without removing them from the deals where they were previously used.

Is there a feature that allows for this, or could such a feature be considered for future development?
