Automation Triggers with Deal stage not changed

Hello,

I have been creating new email automation to send out reminders when someone has been in a certain stage for a week.

I am using the instant conditions of Deal stage is __ and Deal stage has not changed. With then a delay of 1 week. Then the email template is sent.

My question is if a deal is triggered by this automation, but is still not moved/changed stage after another week would it be triggered by the automation again? Or is it only once per deal?

Depends on what your original trigger for the automation is.

The trigger is deal updated. I'm wanting to only have it send once would that be the correct one to be on?

You have to add an additional condition to check what the deal stage has been changed to.

Yes, I have the conditions - deal stage is <name> and Deal stage has not changed. With then a 1 week delay.
