How do you manage organization / brand logic?

Does anyone else have problems managing clients brands? ...
Example: a client represents or is the licensee of several international brands, each of them has particularities (different web, facebook, instagram, sales, etc., even brand managers, product owners -), but this brands are not an independent company (as to create them as an organization), they are just brands, therefore their employees belong to the corporate (corporate mail, corporate position, etc.) ... how do they solve it?
There are even companies in which a brand manager is in charge of 1, 2 or brands ... and to complicate matters further, if the company is large, on our part we could have salespeople who attend different brands within a company
I've managed to do a few patches, but I've had to force the Pipedrive logic ... I would like to know if someone else has this requirement and how to solve it.
Of course, one option is to create each brand as an independent organization and link them, but it doesn't seem natural to me, the integrity of the information is lost.
Thank you!cc @Mike van der Valk @Inês Batata

@Hans Nieto I was actually going to suggest setting up multiple orgs and then linking them like explained here: https://support.pipedrive.com/hc/en-us/articles/207391735-Related-Organizations
Did you try that before?

@Mike van der Valk of course, but it doesn't seem appropriate to me. Distort information. It also has a practical problem, example: at Unilever we have brand A detergent and brand B furniture polish. John is the product manager of both, how can I do it if I cannot link more than one organization to an individual contact?
In fact, I take advantage of commenting on another topic that is related and that I also once mentioned to the pipedrive staff: what happens, for example, if Peter works at SAP, but at the same time is a member of the IBM board of directors, and an advisor to Oracle? .or worse, Peter works in 2 companies. I ended up solving it manually and creating 3 custom fields to link other companies, but it is not very efficient to manage either.

@Hans Nieto I totally understand the need for linking multiple orgs to a contact and I've seen this pop up in the past from other Pipedrive users as well. I'll re-post this feedback again in our internal channels as well which hopefully sparks discussion.
Unfortunately, currently the best workaround is indeed to use related organizations and custom fields to link multiple orgs to a person and orgs to each other.
Perhaps so I can give even better feedback here to the team, could you describe to me what are the biggest problems you have with this current workaround and how you'd like to see this solved, this will definitely spark some discussion on our end0 -

I think that the best solution would be to grant a functionality that would make it possible to differentiate between a main (standard) link between a contact and an organization, and then secondary links (similar to a logic of parent, child and related organization links)

Hi, I am encountering the same challenge. We sell a sales order registration platform and approach brand owning companies but also their agents located in different countries.
A very useful addition to Pipe would be to add a main entity "Brands" in addition to Contacts and Companies. This Brand entity would allow adding multiple contacts but also multiple Companies (eg agents/resellers/distributing companies representing a Brand).
And as Hans indicated each Contact could than also be assigned to multiple Brands still belonging to the same Company.
For us selling multi-step, multi-level it would be extremely valuable to visualize Brand sales channels this way as we like Hans are limited today to workarounds with eg Notes fields where we key in Brands and Related Organisations we create for specific Brands although the Brand as such is not a Company.
So we are missing an entity "Brands" like Contacts and Organisations.
Is this something Pipedrive is interested in in adding?
Kind regards, Mike

Thanks for chiming in @Mike Peters
There are currently no immediate plans unfortunately but I'll share your message with the team so it hopefully sparks a new discussion here.

It is a good point what @Mike Peters points out, my logic had to do more with relating brands to people, but of course it would also be very useful to create the brand entity and be able to associate it with different companies, ex: in the case of Disney, depending on the type of product there may be different licensees ... for clothing it is company A and for toys it is company B .... @Mike van der Valk I think this is a good point that Pipedrive should bring to the table in their discussions.
