Bulk Add a Value to a Data Field (AKA Mass Adding Tags)
Right now when you bulk edit, it replaces the current value, but what if you can add another value to it so you have multiple values in your custom field that looks like this.
Here's what it could look like...
The system is already capable off adding values when merging contacts, so why not have this feature be added when bulk editing?

Hi, @Nicole Serviss . That is possible when your field type is “multiple options,” just like the example from your image. You can select multiple options from a list; however, to add new options, it is necessary to edit the custom field and its list of preselected options.
If you mean to have a field for freeform information, it is best to have a “text" or “large text” custom field. The latter is more suited for information that takes more than 255 characters.

When I bulk edit and want to add another multiple option, it just overrides all the ones that are there and replaces it with what I select.

That’s correct and is the expected behavior when bulk-editing multiple option fields. You need to make sure all the options you want to see in that field are selected. Not just the option that you want to add.

Sooo, @Nicole Serviss did you ever find a working solution to bulk update a contact and add a tag without replacing current tags on the field? From the comments, doesn't seem like your question was answered.

@Manuel Oliveira what gives?! This person made a pretty clear request and even described it in an idiot proof way. I for one completely agree with her. There needs to be an add option not just a complete override and this should have been built into the program from the beginning like many other CRMs. Maybe you guys need to start listening more to what customers actually need and stop forcing your opinion onto everyone about how they should be using your broken app, it's a very lazy development practice.

@Nicole Serviss Can you please turn this question into a feature request so we can vote on it?
