How do you put fields in multiple categories?

Sometimes fields can be a part of multiple categories. I can, as far as I know only select one category to put them in.

Is there a way to put fields in multiple categories?

    If you are reffering to the Field Group option, then yes, we currently can only have a field added to one group. But if you believe this could be beneficial in your workflow, kindly forward this as a suggestion to the Ideas and Product Feedback channel and with enough upvotes, we can bring this to the attention of our product team.
