Project Task Dates Linked to Previous Task (Dependencies)

The project feature is amazing BUT I really need a way to link one task's due date to a previous task in the project. Ideally I would like to be able to set this up in templates so that I make sure dates will automatically be updated if a project is delayed in the pipeline.
