Insight must provide ability to cross reference multiple entities (like the filters)

The Insight module is very limited and doesn't allow to cross reference entities. For examples, I would like to have a deal performance report segmented or filtered by custom fields at the organization or the person level.

This feature is available in the filter from the entity views (organization, person, deal, etc.). Without this feature, I feel the Insight module is pretty useless as it doesn't allow you to have real insights on your data.

Any updates here? This is very basic functionality and agree that Insights is useless. I would love to make dashboards that are useful for sales prospecting but having to resort to multiple filters instead.
