New: Files feature released today 🚀 Files Global Export

Hi, I’m Pedro Franco from the Files feature team, and I wanted to let you know that we’ve released the files global export functionality.

What will you get with this release?

• Have the ability to export the data related to the files for your company in Global Export page under Tools and Apps
  The exported excel/csv will contain the data of all files that have uploaded into Pipedrive attached either to your deals, people, organizations, products or projects (not containing google drive related ones)
• The excel/csv will also contain a download link for users to download the file to their local machine. Users must be logged to make the download for security purposes.
• You can your export more specific by filtering by a specific the time period (Last week, Last month or a Custom Period)

Where:

• The new functionality can be found in Export Page under Tools and Apps

Availability:

• Available for all plans for admins

What’s next?

• We’ll gradually roll out this functionality to all companies in the upcoming weeks until the end of May

Hi Pedro, Great that we can see this. I presume importing back the other way is not possible?

Importing files was left out of scope. We will have to look into the import files problem separately depending on the other roadmap items.
