How to continue an email sequence when there is no answer

Hello, I've been trying to create an email sequence to send a first email when a deal is moved to another stage, and then send another email three days later if there is no response. However, it isn't working. Is there anyone who knows the conditions for this kind of scenario?

    Hi @Achiquitos,

    I created an example automation that may help to accomplish what you are looking for. This automation will trigger when a deal is moved to a different stage and send an email to the deal contact, then it will wait for 3 days, after 3 days if there is no reply to that email, a follow up email will be sent-
