SmartDocs mapping Products without discount per unit

Hello Pipedrive friends.

We are generating offers with Documents (SmartDocs) and we cannot find the field to map "discounted unit price".

The system is applying the discount correctly, it shows the price without discount and in the multiplication of units it expresses the total with the product discount. This is not a problem when it is a single unit, but when you multiply by X units it shows a unit without discount and a total of the units with the discount. We need to map the unit price with discount.

Do you have this problem?

    Hey, @Xavier Framis!

To map a discounted unit price in Pipedrive, you can use formula fields to create a field in the deal that subtracts the deal value to reflect the discounted unit price. This approach allows you to calculate and display the discounted price per unit based on the information within the deal.

However, it's important to note that Pipedrive currently does not support displaying the price of a single unit with the discount already applied in smart docs when there are multiple products linked to the same deal. The placeholders available do not contemplate the price of a single unit with the discount, so you will only see the discount of a single product when the deal only has one product.

That said, I understand your idea and will share it internally as a suggestion to be considered for future improvements.

    Thank you.

    Thanks for the response @Leonardo

The point is that to do what you propose the client has to switch to the Professional Plan. And, furthermore, it is implementing a "complication" (in quotes) to a data that the system already has.

I think that, just as other fields are mapped under other conditions, the discounted unit price mapping has an overwhelming logic.

I appreciate that you escalated it to engineering, since, I insist, trying not to be annoying, it is common sense that this information is this way.

    Thank you,

    Xavier

PS: I have not been able to reverse my decision by indicating that the answer resolves my doubt. It is not like this. Sorry.

Do we have any news regarding this improvement in products functionality and regarding these other improvements that I summarize in a parallel question?

And anything about the Product Roadmap for 2025?

I fully support this improvement proposed by Xavier. I think it is a basic and very simple calculation, but not having it greatly limits the quality and transparency of commercial proposals through SmartDocs and Pipedrive.
