Gmail Extension - Add Templates / Link Deals

I'd like to manage all our templates in Pipedrive and would find it very helpful to have access to the template content in the Gmail extension.

Clicking on the Pipedrive Gmail extension just permits access to the scheduling tool, however I would prefer it let me choose a template for content, and/or link a deal without going through the side bar.

Templates is a top request on my end!

    Mike, this is a must-have for us to continue using the premium plans on Pipedrive. It just doesn't make sense to pay for the email tracking and calendar integration, when so many Gmail extensions offer these and integrate with Pipedrive. Is this on the roadmap?

    Hi @Alex Patriquin it's not on the roadmap now unfortunately but I'm going to again highlight to our team the need for this from users such as yourself.

    Is this available yet? I just installed the Chrome extension for Pipedrive, and need to be able to send email to prospects using our Pipedrive templates...are these templates not available in gmail when composing a message?

    @Aaron Snow unfortunately this is not available and not being worked on right as we speak. It's an idea in the backlog but currently other priorities are set.

    I too just searched to see whether this was on the roadmap. Templates in Gmail would be very useful, particularly when replying to emails, which is less convenient to do within Pipedrive itself.

    Tokens in Gmail would be outstanding to boot!

    What about templates just in Gmail? Not from Pipedrive.

    Adding templates, tokens, and ability to link emails to deals in the Gmail add on would solve two issues at once:

    1. It solves the need for Pipedrive to develop more internal email features. Just build a robust extension and let Gmail handle the email.
    2. It solves the need to develop email capability on the Pipedrive mobile app. Templates in the Gmail add-on solve this for mobile Gmail as well.

    To add some context, we literally pay a subscription for a 3rd party email app just to have templates on mobile.
