Make the organisation owner to be seen on deal page

We use the organisation owner for filtering. Therefore we need to be sure that everyone watching a deal are able to see who is the primary customer responsible. You can of course click on the organisation to verify. But it would be much more handy and available if it was possible to bring that information to the deals section.

It would also be a great help if there were a standardized way of handling VAT number with a country code and digits.

Hi @Jan Tanderup , thank you for your feedback!

Unfortunately at the moment it's not possible to make the owner of item A show up in item B, but I see you've come up with a good workaround by creating a custom field where you fill in this information.  In any case, we have forwarded your suggestion internally for consideration.

As to hanfling VAT, having a standardized format would be very tricky for a number of reasons: not all countries have VAT, and the ones that do don't all use the same format (that's why it's not a default field that comes with Pipedrive from scratch).

I see you've also created a custom field to put in VAT, so my suggestion would be that you incorporate the desired format into the title of that custom field - for example "VAT (UK12345678)".

    Hi Inês Batata,

I understand the issue regarding VAT, but I don't understand why it is not possible to The Organization owner to show up elsewhere. I surpose it is the same record is "organization address" and website. And that information shows nicely up in Details on the Organizations view. And all custom field show nicely in both locations.

Having a customized field generates double information to keep track on. So that is not a good solution. And the image is only an illustration.

That is true @Jan Tanderup , creating a custom fields forces you to manually update the data in two places and it's not ideal. I've made sure to forward your feedback internally so our team can take it into consideration.

In the Deal List View you can see columns from all entities simultaneously: Deal, Organization, Person. I realize it's not the same as looking at the data in the Detail View, but it might help.

Alternatively, I suggest exploring one of our integration platforms to make the data from field A be automatically populated to field B. I did a quick search for you, take a look here
