    Hi Team.

    So like many of you, we have a number of different pipelines, one for sales enquiries, one for rental enquiries, and another for service and support.

    Our detail plane is getting filled up pretty quick as fields for our service pipeline don't need to be shown (ie, RMA#, Consignment notes details etc) and vice versa - for the other pipelines. 

    It would be awesome that you could specify which custom fields apply to which pipeline. 

    Hope to hear back from someone soon. I feel this could be a relatively easy implementation!

    You should play with the Required and Important settings of fields.

    Yes, I'm aware of those settings - it's more about not 'clogging up' that side of the screen, with 'irrelevant' custom fields when working in different pipelines. 

    And required fields also apply across all pipelines, where so we can't always activate that - because for example an service RMA number is not 'required' for a sales pipeline etc.

    We are an installation company in solar panels, in addition to solar panels we sell charging stations, fuse boxes and many extra services. Now we would prefer to have different pipelines for these different services, each with its own detail fields. 

    It would be a huge plus if pipedrive would make this possible. If we now want to process all this in pipedrive, our detail fields list becomes very long. This is cluttered and very inconvenient. 

    Who also sees opportunities in this? please like this post.

    Hi @Jesse Kamp - I am wondering why you can't use Important and Required Field settings to make this work for you. Since you're open to having multiple pipelines, it should be very easy to set up for your usecase, unless I am missing something extremely obvious. :)

    Hey!!! I'm having the same issue, 2 different teams, that have 2 different pipes with other informations on the cards. It would be great if there were possible to choose the selectable field in each pipeline. Thanks

    hello! I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a way to show certain fields per pipeline? I have 3 pipelines currently where only certain fields apply to certain pipelines, however you can't remove fields from one and not the other, which leads to a lot of unnecessary fields.

    is there any work around?

    The best workaround for this is to use "Important Fields"

    Ohhh yes, we want this feature so much too!!!!

    Meanwhile, have you thought about "splitting your custom fields by "sections" and using symbolic/special characters for example?


    In the image, I describe the Pipeline, but you can just use the Special character to indicate a specific Pipeline (Squere = Pipe SQL, Triangle = Pipe Sales:

    @Baptiste  suggested this option once and works well for some clients.

    I know it's not what we would like to have in Pipedrive, but for a "short term" solution it can work well.

    You can then use it with "Important Fields" and select the ones you want for the pipelines you wish to link them to.

    The bulk of this request is a great point (ability to hide fields at different stages). I was doing some digging on an update for the feature to have unique custom fields per pipeline and found this thread, there are a lot of posts about this feature request.
