timestamping comments in the notes section of an activity

It would be great if there was a timestamp each time a user adds comments within the notes part of an actvity and that the user could choose whether these timestamped comments were displayed in chronological or reverse chronological order.

At the moment, we manually type in the date and would prefer the latest comments to be at the top.

    This feature would be super helpful.

    I have no idea when i've last 'touched' a contact because only the next schedule touch is added to the comment.

    This seems like it should be a very basic feature.

    I agree. At the moment, we manually write the date next to every comment. However, if there was an automated timestamp feature within notes, it would make it easier.
