Importing contacts into Pipedrive with 3 key fields.. how?

Hallo, I am trying to import a lot of customer details into Pipedrive. The problem I am having is that I need to create separate entries for organizations depending on unique "suppliers"

I have all the data in spreadsheets and, try as I may, I cannot find a way to create new organizations in Pipedrive distinguished by a "supplier" name (we call them principals). There are about 30 suppliers. It is likely that there will be many organization entries in Pipedrive that have the same name and persons, but different suppliers.

I have tried to illustrate this is the attached. Hopefully it makes sense. Please ask me for more information if it is not clear. I have made the "Principal" customer field a "required field" but did not work.

In total there are about 30k entries to be added.

I will have the same problem with a much larger "Activities" database that I plan to upload. Same issue - and hopefully the same solution.

Hey Thomas,

Given you have activities to import as well and you're hitting limitations with the native import functions, you might be able to send the data in through the API which opens up a lot of possibilities. There's a tool you can use called MigrateMyCRM that can help you accomplish this or they can take on the work for you, might not be a bad idea to talk to them.

Here is an other example of my problem. When I import a spreadsheet like the attached I end up with one company entry, but I want there to be 6 as shown.

What I get is:

There appears to be no way to use more than two filter keys. I need three.

Any ideas?

Issue resolved. Pipedrive team is able to add a second de-duplication field so that the Org name AND Principal name define a unique record. In other words, they can add a third key to the filtering.

Problem solved.. The Pipedrive team can add a third key so that Org and Principal together define a unque record. You just need to ask them.
