Label Leads during Upload

I greatly appreciate Pipedrive's flexibility when it comes to uploading from spreadsheets. The fact that we can correct where data fields belong in a simple manner is wonderful.

That is why I was shocked to learn that when uploading Leads you cannot include a Lead - Label (Hot, warm, cold, etc) in the upload. You can do it for People, Deals, and Organizations, but not Leads. Which arguably are the most important data type to know the temperature of.

Has anyone else been frustrated about this? The only easy solution I see is to make a custom field do do exactly what the default field is supposedly for.

    Hi @NLatNWEnforcement,

    Thanks so much for this feedback, we are currently looking into implementing this ability when importing leads as we know it's important! Right now, we don't have an eta for when this feature will be released but keep an eye on the What's New section of the community for any updates!

    In the meantime, you are correct, we would suggest creating a custom field to import these labels. After the leads are imported, you can use a filter to isolate leads with a specific custom field label and then bulk edit the leads to also have the real lead label!
