Move duplicate Deals in another Pipeline stage

Hello,

There is the possibility that I get more then one Deal with the same organisation but another contact.

I plan that the new duplicate deal gets moved to a Pipeline stage "duplicate" automatically. Right now my automatisation looks like this:

But it seems like it's not working.

I don't get it. If there is a new Deal it automatically checks if there is another Deal with the same Organisation name. If this is the case, the new Deal get's moved in the Pipeline stage duplicate.

I'm not too sure if my "instant condition" is set up in the right way.

Hi @Business Photographer,

It looks like the reason your automation is not working correctly is because right now, it is triggering when a new deal is added and then checking to see if the organization linked to your deal is the organization linked to your deal but it's not set up to check if the deal organization already has a deal linked in your account.

Do you only want to have one main deal for each organization? If so, try out an automation like this-

This automation will-

1. Trigger when you create a new deal
2. Then update a field on the linked organization (This step is very important as it will bring the organization fields into the automation) You can choose to update any field that you don't use (Don't choose an important or frequently used field). I created a custom field in my account and set the automation to add "-" to the field.
3. The automation will then check to see if the organization's deal count is more than 1
4. If it is, then the new deal will be moved to the new Pipeline!
