Automatic counter in deal custom fields

Hello community!


I would like to post a message asking for help.


Despite my research, I haven't been able to find a solution.
I am looking for a generated digital automatic counter for business on the model
(year + digital counter)

example
Case X: 240001
Case XD: 240002
XRDX case: 240003
….
I can't seem to find any automation, formula or option that works for this.

    Hello @Teclab,

    Currently, we do not have a default option in Pipedrive that lets you create custom incremental counters for new deals or other entities. The closest option we have would be Deal ID, where you can use Deal ID (which will be unique for each deal) in combination with automations to add the year in front.

    The automation would look something like this:

    The resulting new deals will have the following value:

    Alternatively, you can explore tools like Zapier for a custom increment counter with the help of tools like Zapier storage or Google Sheets/Excel to generate the unique code for each new deal and then pass it on to Pipedrive.
