Automation doesn't work as planned (email count changed -> move deal stage to specific stage)

As you can see below,

I want to
1. whenever I send additional email for that deal (I use the batch email function from deal page)
2. Move the "deal" to "Contact Made" status regardless of where the deal was before.

But it doesn't seem to be working.
Help?

    Hello Simon,

    Currently, the changes to the "email count" are not taken into account as an update to the deal itself, and this would mean the automation will not be triggered when the email count for the deal changes.

    We understand having this option would be helpful, and we can recommend bringing this to our Ideas and Product Feedback channel for the product team's visibility.
