Enable First Name and Last Name in Contacts

Hello,

We are attempting to send emails out from Pipedrive, but currently do not have F/L names separated and can't personalize.

Can this be turned on for our account? Will this automatically separate the existing contacts in the system from full name to F/L or will I have to re-import those? If so, would this affect any deals, etc those contacts would be tied to in the system?
