Email syncing issue when Chinese characters in the subject line

Hi,
We are using the Pipedrive API to gather statistics on emails synchronized with the CRM.
Unfortunately as we have global customers, we discovered that emails with Chinese characters in the subject line could not be synced, which render our statistics useless.
Is a short term bug fixing possible, where for examples Chinese characters are fully omitted but at least the email itself is synced?

I checked with the team internally and they confirmed this does not seem expected. They were able to run a few tests on their end but could not replicate this behavior.
