First of all, I love PD and have been using it for more than 5 years. Yet, there's a few things that have always driven me nuts. Here's a few of them pertaining to emails.

Whenever I want to reply to an email, the reply pane ends up at the very bottom of the screen, below the messages. The send button often ends up out of view, and I have to scroll down to hit send. Since there's two scroll bars, one for the page and one for the email pane, this can often be awkward. You cannot hit cmd+enter to send, which is possible in most other email tools. Lastly, the thread itself can become extremely difficult to navigate if there's more than 2-3 messages.

Solution:

a) When replying to an email, place the reply pane ON TOP (at least make it a preference option)

b) Have the send button always be visible.

c) Allow for cmd+enter hotkey to send.

d) Organise email messages in neat boxes, so it's easy to backtrack.

    Thanks, @Manuel Oliveira!

I almost forgot point 5: The itsy, bitsy, tiny writing pane inside the editor that forces me to scroll up and down. The scroll bar INSIDE the pane is just very silly, and frankly - pretty poor UX. Seem that the editor max-height is set at only 300 px.

    SOLUTION

    e) In email preferences, allow users to move all tools above the writing pane, and extend the pane 2-3x, or make it dynamically fit whatever you're typing.
