Bug: Number of custom field values instead of text when using an automation to change the deal title
Many companies are using an automation to standartise the deal title. In some cases it is usefull to add specific values from a custom field. This works well as long as you do not add a new value to this field. In this case, the automation is not able anymore to use the text but it will show the number of the field value.
So this is the expected result:
But this happens if you add a new value:
You can fix this by jumping into the automation, open it and save it. But still: This is a very unsatisfying solution.
This is what support says about it:
"I checked with the devs team and they've actually only fixed the issue with deal/lead labels, deal stages. (Currently the behavior is expected for custom fields)
So the workaround is to re-add the step where the custom field is used in the automation, after a new option has been added. It's not idea and we will check with our developers to see if we can improve this currently expected behaviour with custom fields as well for the future"
