How to define Deal-Owner as sender of an automated email?

Trigger: are 3 specific custom field in a deal filled?

Actions: If yes:

  1. Move the deal to another stage.
  2. Send an email.

The Issue: I want the email to be sent by the deal owner. I'm using a template (not ideal, but I haven't found another solution), which references the sender’s signature, as this includes a link to the individual Pipedrive scheduler.

If I set the automation to “can be triggered by anyone,” the email gets triggered by users who are not the deal owner, and they then appear as the email sender. However, if I change it to “triggered by specific users,” this doesn’t solve the problem because I can’t ensure the person triggering the automation is the deal owner. Plus, this may lead to the workflow being triggered multiple times, as the event could be true from the perspective of all users (is this assumtion correct?)

Question: How can I ensure that the automated email is sent by the deal owner, without duplicating automations and email templates for each sales representative (which could be numerous)?
