Feature Request: Automations with Import Function

Are you considering allowing automations to work with the import function? For example, uploading a list of deal IDs to trigger specific automations. Currently, bulk edit triggers automation, but bulk import would be more efficient for high-volume tasks like assigning products to multiple deals.

e.g. I have 3 products that I want to assign to 200 deals. I prepare a document with deal IDs and indicate products that need to be asigned. I import the csv and automation takes over → it assigns products to deals / or deletes producst from deals.

    Hello Nikoloz,

Thank you for your feedback and for illustrating how this feature could benefit your workflow. At this time, enabling automation triggered by imports is not part of our current roadmap.

Pipedrive’s frequency limits are designed to ensure optimal performance and prevent issues like system slowdowns or unintended loops. These limits control how often automations can run within a specific timeframe, safeguarding the platform’s infrastructure.

Allowing automations to be triggered by data imports could lead to these frequency limits being exceeded, potentially causing system slowdowns or other performance issues. Therefore, Pipedrive has configured its automation system to exclude imports from triggering automations, ensuring these safeguards remain effective.

Thank you again and have a great day!
