Customize 'add product' view in a deal

Many companies have no need for the default fields in the 'add product' view of a deal.

Removing irrelevant default product fields from add view within deal (and even adding fields that are important) - commonly 'billing frequency,' 'discount' & 'billing start date'

These fields are industry specific to a few industries and makes Pipedrive seem like its not inclusive to all industries.

    Hello @Franki_SaaShop!
Thank you very much for your feedback!
Could you clarify which fields are most important to you? Are they custom fields or something else?
    Thank you in advance!

As a partner we work with many different industries: event management, financial, real estate, law firms, etc. Most of these industries don't have a typical sales structure/pricing.'

It is a mix of removing irrelevant fields and adding the custom fields that are crucial to their business. I see a lot of users skip using the products all together because it doesn't fit their needs, or hard for their staff to adopt when they have think of products in abstract ways to relate it to their business.

Another great feature addition would be the ability to merge products since it is so easy to create duplicates while entering them in a deal and if 2 are getting used for a time then you lose the data (deals attached ) to the one that gets deleted.

I entirely agree, Franki. We need to be able to add and remove standard or custom fields from "Add products to deal".

We rarely use things like "Billing Start Date" or "Discount". We need to be able to add or subtract the fields we need, so they can be populated in Smart Docs. What's the point of adding custom fields if we cannot see or edit them in "Add products to deal"? We, for example, need to see UOM (unit of measure), like an item, package, box, pallet, etc., or even bulk. Instead, we have to put all those details in the Product Description since we cannot see the custom fields in "Add products to deal". "Add products to deal" should be a complete preview of what will be populated into the product fields in Smart Docs.

I've designed two flight and warehousing databases that moved 100 million kg per/year internationally and this really makes no sense to me.
