How to create an automatic followup email requesting a response?

After sending in email in bulk to my contacts, can an automation be set up to request a response if the email doesn't get a reply within a set number of days? I've been playing with the automation feature but it seems a deal needs to be created. I'm not trying to create a deal, just need a response back on the email. Am I missing something?

    My name is Hélio, and I’m part of the support team at Pipedrive.

    Currently, it’s not possible to bulk edit and then create an automation that checks if an email has been replied to and acts based on that. To send a follow-up automated email, the initial email must also be sent via an automation.

    At this time, Pipedrive doesn’t have a specific trigger for emails, so you’ll need to use one of the available triggers instead.

    There are a number of ways in which you can configure an automation to send automated emails without creating deals. Here is an example.

    In my case, I trigger an automation by changing a contact’s label to “Warm Lead.” This sets off an automation that sends an email to the customer. It then waits for a day to check if the email has been replied to. If not, it sends a follow-up email.

    There are several triggers you can use, such as updating a custom field instead of a label.
